MBCI offers 11 different exposed fastener metal roofing panel profiles. Some of these exposed fastener metal roofing panels also work as wall panels and some can be used for both vertical and horizontal applications. MBCI’s exposed fastener metal roofing offerings include PBR, PBU, PBD, PBC, 5V Crimp, 7.2 Panel, Retro R Panel, RainGuard®, Perma-Clad®, Stormproof® and WeatherSafe®. Each exposed fastener metal roofing panel provides its own unique profile, offering the designer many options.
PBR
The PBR panel is commonly used for a wide variety of architectural, agricultural, commercial and industrial applications. PBR is a structural panel and an exposed fastener panel that can be used for both roof and wall applications. The minimum roof slope for PBR is ½:12.

PBU
The PBU panel is an exposed fastener system that can be used for both roof and wall applications. PBU can be installed directly over purlins or joists. PBU offers the versatility of being used in both vertical and horizontal applications to give designers a contemporary appearance for their building project. PBU is recommended for 1:12 or greater roof slopes.

The 5V Crimp roof panel offers an ideal old-time, residential appearance. 5V Crimp is also an aesthetically-pleasing solution for light commercial applications. The 5V Crimp panels require a solid roof deck with a waterproof membrane.

The symmetrical rib 7.2 Panel offers excellent spanning and cantilever capabilities, making it an excellent choice for carports and walkway canopies

The Retro R Panel can be used for new or retrofit construction. Retro R can be applied directly over an existing PBR or R Panel roof to give your building a new look and longer life. Retro R is an exposed fastener system.
